Ephesians 2

1. Living Without Offense-
“Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.”

2. Seeing past the Brokenness-
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”

3. JESUS is the Model-
“By this we know love, that HE laid down HIS life for us, and we ought to lay down out lives for the brothers.”
1 John 3:16

4. Loving the Family-
“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the LORD your GOD is giving you.”
Exodus 20:12

5. Loving Friends-
“A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”
Proverbs 17:17

6. Loving Strangers-
“Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”
Hebrews13:2

7. Loving the Church-

1. PRAY for God’s desire for you to sacrificially love the church.


“And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body.”
Colossians 3:14-15

“Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.”
Romans 12:10

“I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”

2. PRAY for your heart for the church.


3. Ask God to empower you to sacrificially love others in your church.


“So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.”
Ephesians 2:19-22
